FAQs

Is it really safe to eat?

Yes! No raw eggs plus heat-treated flour (165°F kills bacteria) makes this completely safe. Follow Step 1 carefully.

Why is my dough purple instead of red?

Natural cocoa is acidic and turns red coloring purple. Use Dutch-process cocoa and gel food coloring for true red.
